Ella's favorite winter warmers are delectable

 Deliciously Ella's plant-based hot chocolate, produced with almond milk, will keep you warm.

When the weather turns colder and darker outside, we like to warm up with an almond milk hot chocolate and something delicious to eat.

Deliciously Ella's Caramel Cups have been a solid favorite of ours since they were introduced last year. These sit in a bite-sized oaty cup and are made with three layers: a gooey vegan caramel on the bottom, a rich and creamy cacao ganache (or salty almond butter ganache) in the middle, and a thin coating of Deliciously Ella vegan chocolate on top.

These Deliciously Ella Caramel Cups, which are gluten-free and dairy-free, go nicely with this plant-based Hot Chocolate recipe from the Deliciously Ella app.

Serves 1 

quart (250 mL) almond milk

2 tablespoons date nectar

two tbsp cacao powder

1 teaspoon almond butter

1 teaspoon of cinnamon (optional).

1. In a saucepan, combine all of the ingredients and heat them gradually.

2. As the hot chocolate is heating, keep stirring to ensure that all of the ingredients are combined and the almond butter does not cling to the bottom.

3. Remove the pot from the heat before it begins to boil in order to keep all of the goodies inside!
